I think it’s morally reprehensible to be against homosexuality.
One of the most disgusting and sinful things I can imagine
is for someone to say that it is disgusting and sinful
to be queer -
because this very attitude
gives cruel people
permission and reason
to ply their terrors,
without care,
just the idiotic illusion
that somehow they are serving a god
and not a demon.
The unconscious reasoning goes: “Look, here are some worthless people, so we are free to do what we want to them”.
Gay people - including children! - are not only treated unfairly,
they are regularly verbally and physically attacked,
not uncommonly, even, by members of their own families.
They are bullied and emotionally abused, frequently to the point of suicide.
They are disowned by the people who are supposed to love them and care for them.
They’re imprisoned. They’re raped.
They are tortured, beaten, broken, and bruised.
They are murdered.
Set on fire.
Shot.
Beheaded.
You name it.
And for what?
Who can give me a satisfactory reason
why all those millions of people should pay such a very heavy price for wanting to experience love and desire (two things that almost everyone in the world wants)?
There is no defense for the human cost. There is no excuse that makes sense in the face of those monstrosities of fact.
Those who oppose homosexuality focus on the sex act itself. This is offensive and outrageous. Do they focus on this aspect of their parents’ or friends’ or neighbors’ relationships? There is so much more to any relationship! Anyone should know that! And how could it possibly be anyone else’s business? That viewpoint is simpy indecent. In another era, people got slapped in the face for that kind of personal intrusiveness.
People are grievously deluded if they think LGBTQ opposition is any kind of moral high road.
It is, instead, a sewer bursting with blood and carnage, pain and suffering, ignorance and hate.
Opposition to gay love is the result of nothing but a heartbreaking lack of true empathy for our fellow human beings.
It’s SO weird to me that people try to call themselves “good people” and then stand up for the heinous evil that bigotry causes throughout the world. These people CREATE a problem with their ridiculous attitudes, a problem that results in hatred, pain, and death for a significant portion of the population! And it’s a problem that WOULD NOT EXIST if these people did not make it so. Shame.
